Pics from Georgia Aquarium

Georgia Aquarium

We all went to the Georgia Aquarium last weekend to celebrate my Mother-in-laws birthday (Happy Birthday!), and we had a blast! The kids all loved it and are ready to go back! I think my favorite was the 3-D show. I was sad that the penguins were not on display and will not be back until 2010! I took a ton of pictures but it was hard to get any where all of the kids would sit and smile at the camera...all at the same time!

Happy Labor Day!

We hope everyone is having a safe and happy Labor Day weekend! Amy and the girls came home this weekend and we spent some time visiting the Grandparents and cooking out with Mom and Dad. It was a relaxing and enjoyable weekend!

Little Updates

Where has the time gone? I can't believe that we are already well into August! We have been managing to stay busy. As most of you know, I started a new job almost three weeks ago (Suburban Hematology Oncology Associates) and I am loving it! It is fast paced and busy, but MUCH different than working in a hospital! I am one of four nurses who do chemotherapy infusions, as well as a wide variety of other things! It's Monday-Friday 8:30-5, no nights, no call, no weekends, no holidays...need I say more? The physicians are great and the nurses have a great deal of autonomy. Needless to say, I feel like a lot of prayers have been answered!
Hunting season is beginning to draw near! Bronson is now starting to spend some time down at his Mom and Dad's land, as well as his friend David's land. Last weekend they worked at David's building deer stands. I believe he has informed me that the opening day of bow season is September 13 (I've already got a "girl's night out planned)!
All the nieces and nephews are beginning to start back to school. Elizabeth and Angel started back Monday, and Kylie and Jansen will start this coming Monday. Jansen will be starting Kindergarten!! Amy, Andy and the girls are all starting at new places...and so far I think they are enjoying it. Elizabeth is quickly making friends, and Abby hasn't missed a beat at her new nursery school. We are excited about what this year may hold for each of them. I can't believe they are all growing up so fast!
We hope everyone is doing well! We just get so busy with life that it's hard to keep in touch with everyone as much as we would like. Hopefully, this will be a good way to keep contact with everyone. Take care!

Recent trip to Atlanta Zoo

Week before last Amy and Andy came up for a few days with the girls and Grandmommy decided to take us all to the zoo. We had a great time and were amazed at a lot of the animals...especially the gorillas! Here are some pics...can you believe how big the girls are getting? Elizabeth is 10 and Abby is 3.....

Kenny '08

As most of you know...the Kenny Chesney concert is an annual thing for Amy and I! For our collective birthdays, mom and dad sprung for tickets for the four of us, and it was a BLAST! We had planned to tailgate all along, but thought we'd be the only people crazy enough to do it in the rain. Boy did we ever doubt the Kenny faithful! The parking lot was packed by noon and we were able to tailgate with several friends of Andy & Amy who had come up for the concert as well! Of Course, Kenny was awesome...but Brooks-n-Dunn, Leann Rimes and Gary Allen were awesome to! We are already looking forward to Kenny '09!

We're catching the blogging fever

Anyone who knows Bronson and I knows that we can both be somewhat "computer challenged" at times! So why have we started this blog you ask? We are getting more and more emails from friends with blogs and I can't resist it any longer! I love being able to see pics and read about recent happenings of all my good friends and families, even when we are to busy for phone conversations and lunch dates! We haven't figured out how to post pics yet, but give us time...we've gotten this far haven't we?? Love to all!
